What PureVPN costs, with or without a coupon
You don’t need a PureVPN coupon code for the price on this page. PureVPN Standard costs $58.20 paid upfront for the first 27 months (a 2-year plan plus 3 extra months) and then auto-renews at $47.95 a year. PureVPN’s order pages print it as “Billed $58.20 for 27 months, then auto-renews at $47.95 annually”, and its renewal table lists the same $47.95. Both are USD amounts before tax, checked on 13 October 2026.
PureVPN advertises the plan as “$2.15/mo”. The exact monthly equivalent is $58.20 ÷ 27 = $2.156, which this site rounds to $2.16; PureVPN cuts its displayed figure off after two decimals instead of rounding. Either way it is an equivalent, not a monthly charge: the full $58.20 leaves your account at checkout.
The renewal changes the math. $47.95 a year is $4.00 a month ($47.95 ÷ 12 = $3.996), nearly double the first term’s equivalent. Keep the subscription through one renewal and you pay $58.20 + $47.95 = $106.15 for 39 months, an average of $2.72 a month. PureVPN’s renewal page says plans “renew automatically at full price (unless cancelled)”, in the currency of the first payment, and that it will notify you by email before charging a changed price.
The order summary’s “Save 83%” compares $58.20 with $349.65, the cost of 27 months at the $12.95 monthly price (27 × $12.95). PureVPN’s /pricing page adds some confusion: on 13 October 2026 its plan cards read “Billed $322.65 $57.95 on purchase” for this plan, while the order summary on the same page charged $58.20, as did every other PureVPN page checked. Go by the order summary.
Tax is added where it applies; the checkout says renewals are charged “plus VAT/tax where applicable”. A US-located order summary showed no tax line, but no payment was completed, so US sales tax at payment wasn’t verified.

USD quotes checked 13 October 2026, before applicable tax. Currency, campaign and checkout prices can vary. Monthly rates are equivalents of upfront payments. How pricing works.
These figures come from PureVPN’s public order page and the landing page our offer link points to; opened directly, both showed the same bills and renewal lines on 13 October 2026. Two details are easy to miss:
- The 27-month plan renews for less than the 16-month plan. Standard for 16 months costs $40.80 ($2.55 a month equivalent) but renews at $57.95 a year, $10.00 more than the 27-month plan’s $47.95. The 27-month plan costs $17.40 more today ($58.20 − $40.80) and covers 11 more months.
- Monthly plans renew “at it’s standard price” with no figure on the card. The renewal table lists $12.95 for Standard and $19.95 for Max. Plus is inconsistent: the order pages charge $17.95, while the /pricing page and the renewal table say $15.95.
Standard, Plus or Max: what each plan adds
The VPN and its 10-device limit are the same on all three plans; PureVPN documents no per-plan difference in simultaneous connections. What changes is the bundle around the VPN, according to the order page:
- Standard ($58.20, renews at $47.95): “Full-featured fast VPN” and “Tracker & Ad Blocker”.
- Plus ($73.80, renews at $69.95): everything in Standard plus a Password Manager.
- Max ($95.85, renews at $84.95): everything in Plus, with Data Removal, Dark Web Monitoring and an eSIM data allowance. The order page describes that eSIM two ways, “3GB for 30 days” and “3 days Unlimited data”, so read the current wording before counting on it.
Over 39 months, Plus costs $143.75 ($73.80 + $69.95) and Max $180.80 ($95.85 + $84.95), against $106.15 for Standard. The difference pays for the extra services, not a different VPN, so it only makes sense if you would use them.
The 5-year deal, and why there is no lifetime plan
PureVPN sells a longer term only on its deals pages (purevpn.com/vpn-deals and its Black Friday page), not on the order pages our offer link opens. On 13 October 2026, Standard read “Billed $777.00 $129.95 for 60 months, then auto-renews at $47.95 annually”. Plus cost $159.95 and Max $199.95 for 60 months, renewing at $69.95 and $84.95 a year.
The 5-year plan doesn’t lower the monthly equivalent: $129.95 ÷ 60 = $2.17 (PureVPN shows $2.16), a cent above the 27-month plan. What it changes is the renewals. Covering five years with the 27-month plan means $58.20 plus three yearly renewals at today’s $47.95, or $202.05 for 63 months, against $129.95 upfront for 60 months. That saving assumes you keep using PureVPN for five years, and once the 31-day refund window has passed, the whole $129.95 is committed.
There is no official PureVPN lifetime plan that our source check could find. Its /lifetime-vpn address returns a “not found” error, and its billing FAQ mentions only expired “lifetime account from StackSocial” purchases from a third-party seller.
Black Friday 2026 hadn’t been announced as of 13 October 2026. PureVPN’s /black-friday address redirects to an undated Black Friday page (last modified 28 November 2025), whose headline “privacy starts at just $1.49/mo” matches none of the plans it displays.
The $0.99 trial and what it turns into
PureVPN’s website trial is paid, not free: “Pay just $0.99 today. After your 7-day trial, you’ll be charged $47.95 for 12 months unless you cancel.” A Max trial costs $1.99 and converts to $89.95 for 12 months. PureVPN says it sends a reminder email on day 6. The trial starts from PureVPN’s trial page (affiliate link).
The trial is a weaker way to test PureVPN than a direct purchase. The refund policy says “trial-based renewals are non-refundable”, so the $47.95 conversion isn’t covered by the 31-day policy. The trial route costs $48.94 ($0.99 + $47.95) for 12 months and a week; the 27-month plan costs $58.20 and, paid by card or PayPal, is an initial purchase covered by the 31-day policy.
PureVPN’s App Store and Google Play listings advertise a “7-day free trial”. The store trial terms weren’t visible in our check, and purchases through Apple or Google fall outside PureVPN’s refund policy: refunds go through the store.
How to buy PureVPN at the quoted price
- Open the PureVPN offer (affiliate link) and check that the address is purevpn.com before you enter any details.
- Choose the 2-year tab and the Standard plan. Its card should read “Billed $58.20 for 27 months, then auto-renews at $47.95 annually”.
- Check the order summary. Leave “Got a coupon code?” empty; the quoted total needs no code.
- Leave out add-ons you don’t need. On the 2-year plan an add-on is charged upfront for 24 months: Port Forwarding at $1.49 a month adds $35.76 (24 × $1.49).
- Pick a payment method. Cards and PayPal are covered by the refund policy; crypto, CoinGate, PayGarden and gift cards are not.
- Note your renewal date. To avoid the $47.95 renewal, cancel auto-renewal in the Member Area before then.
Refunds and canceling auto-renewal
PureVPN’s policy lets you claim a refund “within 31 days of your initial purchase”. It excludes:
- renewal payments (“The 31-day refund policy does not apply to renewal payments”);
- trial conversions;
- payments through Coinpayment, the App Store or Google Play, which PureVPN marks “non-refundable” at checkout, plus CoinGate, PayGarden, crypto and gift cards in its payment-method table;
- “accounts issued for special purposes”.
The Terms make refunds “subject to fair use” and say an account that fails an identity check gets no refund. PureVPN also says it “will first try to resolve your issue” before refunding. To claim, email help@purevpn.com with your VPN username and the reason, use the refund request in the Member Area, or ask Live Chat. PureVPN says it processes valid requests within 24 hours and that the money can take up to 30 days to reach you. The policy doesn’t say whether add-ons are refundable.
Canceling auto-renewal is a separate step: Member Area → Subscriptions → the drop-down arrow → Cancel Subscription, then give a reason and continue. PureVPN says this “will only disable your auto-renewal”; a refund needs its own request. It doesn’t state outright that access lasts until the paid term ends, though its note that you can resume “before the expiry of the current subscription” implies it. App-store subscriptions are canceled with Apple or Google. Our VPN refund guide compares these rules across providers.
Who this deal fits
For the same 27 months, PureVPN Standard’s $58.20 is less than Surfshark Starter ($67.23) or NordVPN Basic ($94.23), and its $47.95 renewal is below theirs ($79.00 and $139.08 a year). Its documentation suits buyers who:
- connect up to 10 devices at the same time;
- want app split tunneling on Windows, or include-or-exclude app rules on Android, Android TV or Fire TV;
- need port forwarding or a dedicated IP, both sold as add-ons;
- use Linux and want a GUI app with a documented kill switch.
It’s a weaker fit if you need split tunneling on a Mac, iPhone or Linux (none is documented), a documented kill switch on iPhone or TV apps, or more than 10 connections without paying for the Multi Login add-on. The PureVPN review covers those limits and the 2017 logging case. NordVPN vs PureVPN and Surfshark vs PureVPN set the bills and features side by side, and the cheap VPN comparison adds other providers.

Common questions
Is there a PureVPN coupon code?
PureVPN’s order summary has a “Got a coupon code?” field, but the $58.20 price on this page needs no code. We haven’t verified any PureVPN code, so we don’t publish one. If a code changes your total, compare the result with $58.20 for 27 months and the $47.95 renewal.
Does PureVPN have a free trial?
Not on its website: the trial costs $0.99 for 7 days, then charges $47.95 for 12 months unless you cancel, and that charge is non-refundable. The App Store and Google Play listings advertise a 7-day free trial, but their terms weren’t visible in our check.
What does PureVPN renew at?
Standard on the 27-month plan renews at $47.95 a year, before tax. The 16-month Standard plan renews at $57.95 a year, Plus at $69.95, and Max at $84.95 or $89.95 depending on the term. PureVPN says it emails you before charging a changed price.
Can I get a refund after PureVPN renews?
Not under PureVPN’s refund policy, which excludes renewal payments. Cancel auto-renewal before the renewal date if you don’t want the next charge.
Is there a PureVPN lifetime deal?
No official lifetime plan was found. The longest term PureVPN sells is the 5-year plan on its deals pages: Standard costs $129.95 for 60 months, then $47.95 a year.
