On 15 October 2026, Surfshark was the only one of the five VPNs we cover with a live 2026 Black Friday label: Surfshark One for $67.23 for the first 27 months, the same first bill as its Starter plan, renewing at $99.00 a year. NordVPN, Private Internet Access, PureVPN and PrivateVPN had published no 2026 Black Friday price, so their everyday bills below are the prices any November offer has to beat.
Black Friday 2026 is on 27 November and Cyber Monday on 30 November, the dates NordVPN’s own Black Friday and Cyber Monday pages give. None of the five had published a start date, end date or terms for a 2026 sale. We’ll update this page when one does.
Black Friday 2026 status by provider
What each provider’s official pages showed on 15 October 2026:
| Provider | 2026 Black Friday price? | What the official pages showed | The bill to beat |
|---|---|---|---|
| NordVPN | None published | Black Friday and Cyber Monday pages titled for 2026, with the dates but no price, discount or terms. Their buttons lead to the regular pricing page. | Basic: $94.23 for 27 months, then $139.08 a year |
| Surfshark | Label live | “Black Friday deal” on the Surfshark One card: $67.23 for the first 27 months, then $99.00 a year. No terms, start or end date. | Starter: $67.23 for 27 months, then $79.00 a year |
| PIA | None published | A Black Friday offer page reading “85% OFF” with no price, and a countdown set to a date in 2024. The site-wide banner is a Halloween sale. | $46.54 for 26 months (13 October quote); renewal amount not shown |
| PureVPN | None published | Last year’s Black Friday page (last modified 28 November 2025), still selling 5-year plans. | Standard: $58.20 for 27 months, then $47.95 a year |
| PrivateVPN | None published | No Black Friday page or campaign. Its banner reads “12 Months + 24 Months extra”. | $72.00 for 36 months, then $72.00 a year |
All figures are USD before tax. On 15 October the NordVPN, Surfshark, PureVPN and PrivateVPN quotes matched our 13 October check. We couldn’t reconfirm PIA’s US-dollar price that day because its deal page showed only euro prices to our check, so its figure is the 13 October quote.

USD quotes checked 13 October 2026, before applicable tax. Currency, campaign and checkout prices can vary. Monthly rates are equivalents of upfront payments. How pricing works.
A November offer is only a better deal if its upfront total, divided by the months it covers, comes in under these, or if it renews for less. A bigger percentage badge doesn’t prove either.
Surfshark: a bigger bundle at the same price
Surfshark’s “Black Friday deal” label sits on the Surfshark One card, not on Starter. Both cost $67.23 for the first 27 months, so the deal doesn’t lower the bill. It gives you One’s extras for Starter’s price: Antivirus, Alert, Search and scam protection on top of the VPN. The difference arrives at renewal, when One costs $99.00 a year against Starter’s $79.00. After 39 months, One has cost $166.23 and Starter $146.23.
Surfshark’s Black Friday page still carried a 2025 title on 15 October, and its banner reads “Hurry up! Grab our Black Friday deal here” without an end date. If you only want the VPN, Starter’s lower renewal is the better fit. The Surfshark Black Friday guide shows what One adds and the tax at a New York checkout.
NordVPN: no Black Friday price yet, and a promotion that ends on 21 October
NordVPN’s Black Friday page says NordVPN is “cheaper than usual” on Black Friday, but on 15 October it showed no figure, and NordVPN’s price grid had no Black Friday wording. Basic still cost $94.23 for 27 months, renewing at $139.08 a year, in NordVPN’s US pricing data and at checkout.
Both campaign pages link to NordVPN’s promotion terms, which describe a different offer: three additional months on 2-year plans bought between 29 July and 21 October 2026 at 08:00 CET. NordVPN’s price grid shows “+ 3 EXTRA months” on its 2-year plans but doesn’t say whether they come from that promotion. We’ll re-check the 27-month quote after 21 October. If the months on NordVPN’s 2-year plan change, compare any later offer by its total months as well as its price.
The NordVPN Black Friday guide lists every NordVPN plan, the renewal for each and what to check at checkout.
PureVPN: last year’s Black Friday page sells a 5-year plan
PureVPN’s /black-friday address still opens its 2025 page. Its headline promises “just $1.49/mo”, which matches none of the plans the page lists. The cheapest it actually sells is a 5-year Standard plan: $129.95 for 60 months, renewing at $47.95 a year.
That plan doesn’t lower the monthly equivalent ($129.95 ÷ 60 = $2.17, against $2.16 for the everyday 27-month plan). It saves money only if you keep PureVPN for five years. Covering that span with the 27-month plan means $58.20 plus three yearly renewals at $47.95, or $202.05 for 63 months, against $129.95 for 60 months. The PureVPN coupon guide has the other 5-year plans and the refund rules. You can see the 5-year plan on PureVPN’s Black Friday page (affiliate link).
PIA and PrivateVPN: nothing for 2026 yet
PIA has three Black Friday or Cyber Monday pages, and none shows a 2026 price. Its /offer/black-friday page reads “Black Friday Deal: 85% OFF” with no amount, and its “Sale Ends in” countdown is set to a date in December 2024, so it isn’t a 2026 deadline. Its /black-friday-vpn page fills in the same discount figures as the Halloween banner shown across PIA’s site. The bill on PIA’s deal page was $46.54 for 26 months on 13 October, renewing yearly at an amount that page doesn’t show. The PIA coupon guide explains where to confirm it.
PrivateVPN had no Black Friday page or campaign code on 15 October, and its only seasonal posts date from 2024. Its everyday 36-month plan already includes 24 extra months: $72.00 upfront, a $2.00 monthly equivalent, then $72.00 a year.
How to tell a Black Friday price from the everyday deal
Read the checkout, not the banner:
- Total today and months. Divide the total by every month it covers. Today’s plans already include bonus months: 3 at NordVPN, Surfshark and PureVPN, and 24 at PrivateVPN. Only months beyond those are new.
- Percentage badges. NordVPN’s grid labels its savings as “intro vs. renewal prices”, and Surfshark’s struck-through “old price” differs between the price groups it’s testing. Neither tells you what you pay.
- Renewal amount and interval. Introductory prices cover the first term only. Find the renewal line in checkout or in the provider’s renewal table.
- Bundle or bill. Surfshark’s 2026 deal is a bigger bundle, not a lower price. PureVPN’s is a longer term.
- Countdowns. A timer with no published end date, or one counting to a past date, is not a deadline.
- Tax and add-ons. Prices here are before tax. Remove add-ons you don’t want before you pay.
- Refund terms. Money-back guarantees cover eligible first purchases. NordVPN’s doesn’t cover a repeat purchase after an earlier refund, so buying now, refunding and rebuying in November isn’t a safe plan.
The VPN cost guide works through the arithmetic, and the cheap VPN comparison ranks the five by bill, rate and renewal.
Buy now or wait for 27 November?
None of the five providers had said whether its November price will be lower than today’s. If one of the bills above fits your budget and your devices, the date doesn’t change that arithmetic. If you’d rather wait, note today’s total, months and renewal for the plan you want and compare them with the checkout in November.
Common questions
Which VPNs have a Black Friday 2026 deal right now?
On 15 October 2026, only Surfshark: its One plan carried a “Black Friday deal” label at $67.23 for 27 months, renewing at $99.00 a year. NordVPN, PIA, PureVPN and PrivateVPN had published no 2026 Black Friday price.
When is Black Friday 2026 for VPNs?
Black Friday is on 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday on 30 November. No provider we cover had published start or end dates for a 2026 sale on 15 October.

Not for the prices on this page. Each one appears on the provider’s own pricing page or checkout without a code, and this site doesn’t publish coupon codes.
Do Black Friday VPN prices apply when the plan renews?
No. The introductory price covers the first term only. Surfshark’s labelled deal renews at $99.00 a year; NordVPN Basic at $139.08; PureVPN Standard at $47.95; PrivateVPN at $72.00.
