NordVPN Black Friday 2026: no deal announced yet, and how to judge one

As of 13 October 2026, NordVPN had not launched a 2026 Black Friday or Cyber Monday price. Its Black Friday and Cyber Monday pages carry “2026” in their titles but show no prices, dates or terms, and they send buyers to the regular pricing page. Black Friday 2026 falls on 27 November and Cyber Monday on 30 November. Until NordVPN publishes a campaign, the bill to beat is its standard Basic price: $94.23 for 27 months, then $139.08 a year, before sales tax. What NordVPN has published so far

These were the official signals on 13 October 2026:

• NordVPN’s price grid had no Black Friday or Cyber Monday wording, countdown or campaign label.
• Its Black Friday page (“The best Black Friday VPN deal in 2026”) and Cyber Monday page (“The best Cyber Monday VPN deal in 2026”) are evergreen pages with no campaign price, discount, dates or terms.
• The Cyber Monday page’s FAQ says: “Our deals change every year, so check our website for the latest price drops.”
• NordVPN’s help center mentions Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals only in general terms.

This page doesn’t guess at a discount. NordVPN hasn’t announced one, and the only reliable comparison is the bill a campaign actually shows at checkout.

Today’s prices: the baseline for any Black Friday offer

USD quotes checked 13 October 2026, before applicable tax. Currency, campaign and checkout prices can vary. Monthly rates are equivalents of upfront payments. How pricing works.

Three numbers matter most. Basic’s 2-year plan costs $94.23 for 27 months, a $3.49 monthly equivalent ($94.23 ÷ 27). Complete’s costs $121.23 and Prime’s $202.23. The 3 extra months are already built into NordVPN’s standard 2-year plans, and NordVPN doesn’t label them as a campaign. When a Black Friday offer advertises bonus months, compare its total months with today’s 27, not with 24.

Discount badges need the same care. NordVPN’s current special-deal page says “Save up to 75%,” and its footnote explains that the saving compares “the intro monthly price of the 2-year highest-tier plan” with “the current monthly price of its annual renewal.” A percentage measured that way says little about the plan you’ll actually buy. NordVPN’s grid labels its own savings the same way: “intro vs. renewal prices.”

A bill-first checklist for any Black Friday offer

When NordVPN’s campaign appears, read the checkout rather than the banner:

• Total today: the amount charged at checkout. Compare it with $94.23 for Basic, $121.23 for Complete or $202.23 for Prime on today’s 2-year plan.
• Months: how many months that payment covers, bonus months included. Divide the total by the months and compare with $3.49, $4.49 or $7.49.
• Bonus months: today’s 2-year plans already include 3. Only months beyond 27 are new.
• Renewal amount and interval: today’s plans renew yearly at $139.08, $219.48 or $296.28. NordVPN’s subscription terms say introductory prices are valid only for the initial subscription period, so read the renewal line in checkout.
• Plan tier: make sure the advertised price belongs to the plan in your cart, not a cheaper or pricier one.
• Tax: none of these prices includes sales tax, which NordVPN adds at checkout.
• Add-ons: a dedicated IP ($99.63 with a 2-year plan today, renewing at $81.48 a year) and Incogni are offered at checkout. Remove anything you don’t want before paying.
• Refund window: NordVPN’s 30-day money-back guarantee covers an eligible first purchase. It doesn’t cover renewals or repeat purchases after an earlier refund.

Whatever a banner or a third-party post says, the price that applies is the one on NordVPN’s own checkout. Enter payment details only there, and compare that screen with the list above.

Should you buy now or wait for Black Friday?

We can’t tell you whether NordVPN’s 2026 campaign will undercut today’s price. Here’s what is known:

• If you need a VPN now, today’s bill is fixed and verifiable. Buying now, refunding and rebuying in November isn’t a safe plan, because NordVPN’s guarantee doesn’t cover repeat purchases after a prior refund.

• If your renewal falls near Black Friday, NordVPN’s subscription terms promise a reminder with the then-current renewal price 30 days before the charge on plans longer than a month. Turning off auto-renewal keeps access for the rest of the paid period, which leaves you free to compare offers.
